The cost depends on the procedure length and complexity, we aim to provide you a quote well in advance. Sedation within our clinic is significantly more affordable compared to a hospital setting.
Is any part covered by medicare?
Yes, we use qualified anaesthetists, therefore, our patients are eligible for Medicare rebates depending on the procedure and your Medicare status.
Is IV sedation safe?
Yes, IV sedation is very safe when administered by our fully qualified, ANZCA-accredited anaesthesiologists using hospital grade monitoring and safety equipment.
Will I feel pain during the procedure? ⌄
No, local anaesthetics will be used for numbness and the IV sedation keeps you relaxed and unaware. Most patients report no pain or memory of the procedure.
How long does it last? ⌄
It will last for the duration of the treatment. You may feel tired or groggy for the rest of the day. Avoid driving, operating machinery or making important decisions for at least 24 hours.
